MindGears Technologies is a small, senior software studio in Surat, India. Founded by Dinesh Ahuja in 2019 after a decade of independent client work, we design and ship custom software for businesses that need engineering, not staffing.
Meet the founder
I started as a software engineer in 2008 with a Master of Computer Applications, then spent a decade as an independent developer building production systems for clients across the US, UK, and Europe. I registered MindGears Technologies in Surat in 2019 to scale that practice without losing the standard I held as a solo operator.
My longest single client has been with me for 13+ years. The work we have done together spans four production platforms, TradePartner.io, SmartTrading.com, SuperSeasonals.com, and PDS Trader, that are all still live and running.
Every project at MindGears is founder-led from architecture through delivery. You get the same person who designs the schema, writes the critical code, and owns the production rollout. The small senior team behind me holds the same standard, which is how systems stay stable after launch, not just finished on a deadline.

First production job
Dinesh joined the industry as a software engineer after completing his MCA, working on enterprise .NET and SQL Server systems for US and UK clients.
- 2010
Independent client work
Left full-time employment to take on direct client projects across the US, UK, and Europe. Spent the next decade building production systems solo, from trading dashboards to ERP integrations.
- 2014 to 2016
Architect-level work matures
Client engagements shift from feature delivery to system architecture. Designing schemas, broker integrations, and real-time pipelines that would still be in production a decade later.
- 2018
TradePartner.io goes live
An automated options trading platform built for The Spyrol Group (US) ships its first production version, after five other agencies had failed to deliver a working proof of concept. Still running every trading day.

MindGears Technologies registered
After ten years as an independent developer, Dinesh registered MindGears Technologies in Surat, India. The goal was to keep the standard of solo client work while bringing in a small, senior team to scale delivery without diluting quality.

The team
MindGears is intentionally small. Senior engineers only. Every project is staffed by people who have shipped production systems before, and the founder is on every engagement from architecture through delivery.
We do not hand new clients off to juniors after the sales call. We do not bid by the headcount. The model only works if every engineer has earned the same level of trust the founder would put on his own code, so we keep the team that size on purpose.
Based in Surat, India. Working with clients in the US, UK, Europe, and Australia. Most engagements last years, not months.
